FAQ
What clients usually ask
What's the difference between PWA and a real app?+
PWA = web app with native look. Pros: no app store wait, instant updates, cheaper. Cons: no store listing, limited hardware access.
Is the PWA as good on iOS as on Android?+
Mostly yes. iOS Safari has supported PWA for years, push notifications since 16.4 (April 2023). Android is somewhat friendlier.
When is Flutter (5900 EUR) worth it over PWA (2490 EUR)?+
If you want to be in the store, need in-app purchases, want to use Bluetooth/NFC, or need to reach older iPhones.
What about offline data?+
Service worker caches UI + static data. User data via IndexedDB (built-in). Sync on reconnect.
Can the PWA become a native app later?+
Frontend code reusable with Capacitor (~1490 EUR migration), or full Flutter rebuild (5900 EUR).
