FAQ
What clients usually ask
Why not cross-platform (Tauri/Flutter)?+
If you only need macOS and want it to truly feel like a Mac — native is superior (UI, performance, Apple integrations).
Mac App Store or direct download?+
Both possible. Store: Apple handles updates/payment, you give 15-30%. Direct download: no cut, but notarization and updates yourself.
What if macOS update breaks something?+
Within 30 days post-launch: bugfix free. After: hourly rate or maintenance contract.
iOS variant possible later?+
Yes, much of the SwiftUI code is shareable. Adaptation + iOS submission ~1900 EUR.
Apple Silicon vs. Intel — both?+
Universal Binary supports both. Optimized primarily for Apple Silicon (M1+), Intel as fallback.
Sandboxing — what does that mean?+
App runs in restricted environment — no full file system access, only explicitly allowed resources. App Store requirement. We configure accordingly.
