For schools

The Linux learning platform for your classroom

Real Linux VMs, automatic task checks, progress per student. Built for vocational schools, upper secondary and IT clubs — without Excel sheets and without email accounts per student.

How it works

Three steps from first contact to a class working in the lab.

01

Onboard the school

We send a Data Processing Agreement (DPA / AVV). The school signs it and gets a school admin account. The school admin can then add teachers — no platform admin in the middle.

02

Teacher creates a class

Each class gets a unique code like KLAS-P45R8KM. The teacher generates it once, hands it out to students, and adds students by name (no email required).

03

Students log in with the code

Students go to /lab/auth/schueler-login, type the class code plus their login name (e.g. „Max M.“), and start with the lessons. The teacher sees progress per student.

For teachers

A dashboard built for grading week, not for IT support.

  • Class code in 1 click — written large, easy to dictate.
  • Bulk add students by pasting names, one per line.
  • Progress table per class: who passed, who's stuck, who hasn't tried.
  • Each student has their own real Linux VM — no shared sandbox.

For students

No email, no password reset, no IT ticket.

  • Class code + login name — that's it.
  • Own VM per session, your own files, your own server.
  • Mobile-friendly tablet support, works on school chromebooks.
  • Progress is private to the teacher, never shared with other students.

Curriculum-aligned

Aligned with German curriculum standards

Informatics is a mandatory subject in 10 German states (2025/26, 11 from 2026/27) — and every Techlogia module maps to the recognised frameworks, with an automatic competency certificate per module.

GI Informatics Standards (Sek I, 2025)

Content areas Information & Data (I1) and Computing Systems (I4) — incl. cryptography & data security.

Media Competence Framework NRW

Sub-competency 1.4 Data Protection & Information Security; Area 6 Problem-solving & Modelling.

IT specialist training (FISI, 2020)

Vocational positions: IT security & data protection, network configuration, IT-systems administration — prep for AP Part 1 & 2.

Oriented towards the standards (not an official accreditation); final sign-off by a subject teacher recommended.
